Evaluation Question 4

Evaluation Question 2

Evaluation Question 3

During our final showing of our trailer we handed our feedback forms to our fellow classmates. We made sure the questions on our form would give us as much information on how the person found it as possible. The feedback forms had questions about our trailer and ancillary tasks. I chose to do it this way as a form allows more room for opinions than an online survey. All feedback was anonymous so no one felt obliged to say nice things. All feedback was truthful which is what we needed. Here are the filled in forms:

Overall we were very pleased with the feedback we received. A large majority of what was given back to use was very positive including all agreed our trailer fit our chosen genre perfectly. The few things we had some constructive criticism for was how believable our actors were, only a couple of those who filled out the forms complained about this which left five who hadn't. The majority didn't seem to mind the acting at all and so if changes could be made we wouldn't go right to acting straight away. A few complaints were also mentioned about our jump cuts, but again a large majority of those who filled out the forms didn't.
We also received positive feedback on how we used our editing and ambient sound.
For our ancillary tasks we again received high praises. Our poster was described as 'professional' and no improvements were suggested. The same goes for our magazine. The questions asked for what people liked and did not, the poster was said to be rather 'effective' and our magazine was described as 'not cluttered'.

Using SurveyMonkey we created a much shorter survey online. the survey consisted of 7 questions and we shared this survey with people between the ages of 17-21 which were are target audience. We wanted a range of people to fill in our survey to make it wasn't biased and we got truthful answers for our research.

In this survey many of those who filled it out weren't too fond of the acting, some suggesting to get better actors or to cut down the scenes in which there's interaction between actors. All those who filled out our survey were impressed by how effective our use of ambient sound was and many ranked it very high on what they thought was the most well done in our entire trailer.
The flow of the trailer was also highly praised.
